Radio 4 Open Country programme

A recent visit by the radio 4 Open Country programme - originally broadcast on Saturday 19 July takes a walk through Hafod with broadcaster Felicity Evans, Estate Manager, David Newnham, landscape historian Jennie Macve and botanist Ray Wood.

Group Visits

The Hafod Trust welcomes enquiries from groups wishing to arrange pre-booked guided tours of Hafod, including evening and weekend visits.

Lectures

Partnership staff are available by arrangement to give illustrated talks to groups and societies.

Beddrodau?r Gorffennol (Graves of the Past) ? Project at Hafod church

With grant-aid from ?Spirit of the Miners?, this project involved conducting research based on church records for the Cwmystwyth and Hafod area; initiating a survey of the Hafod churchyard; producing information boards; and erecting within the church a touch-screen computerised system to display the records and information for the local community and the visitor.
